Healing on the Move is an ecosystem composed of two legally distinct sister entities: a social enterprise and an NGO focused on care, working at the crossroads of forced displacement, mental health, decolonization, social justice, and systemic change. It provides integrated services at the individual, community, organizational, and policy levels, employing a cross-subsidization approach that ensures access to care without relying on unpaid or extractive labor.

Mission

To advance just, sustainable, and care-based responses to forced displacement by providing trauma-informed, lived-experience–led care to individuals and communities, strengthening organizations and systems, and influencing policy and funding structures.

Vision

A world in which no one is left alone in their pain.

"War destroys bridges—bridges to ourselves, bridges to others, and bridges between the past, present, and future. War is designed in a smart way; it doesn’t just destroy buildings and infrastructure, it destroys our bridges. This is why, if I cannot fight during a war, I can at least protect my bridges and make sure they remain. It is important to protect them because these bridges safeguard my physical and mental health."
